WHAT IS A RICE HUSK PELLET?

The rice husk pellet is a type of fuel made from rice husk under high pressure and compressed through sieve holes. This is a heating process that causes the colloids in the rice husk to melt and stick together, forming a rice husk pellet with a glossy surface.

Rice husk pellets are among the high-density industrial fuels and are manufactured under low moisture content (less than 10%), allowing them to burn with high efficiency. The high compression ratio also makes it easy to store and transport them over long distances.

Pelletized rice husk is a stable energy source and significantly reduces carbon emissions compared to other fossil energy forms. It also brings benefits to the environment and society.

The cost of using rice husk pellets is very economical, only 30-50% compared to electricity or gas. With the current market price of gas at 400,000 VND/12kg bottle, it only costs about 150,000 - 200,000 VND with the use of rice husk pellets to generate the same amount of heat as using gas.
